The work update that isn't...


So not only is this a long overdue work update, it's a strange one in the sense that there's very little work in it. So why is that? Well...

In common with many designers, I often have to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement, of course...) when dealing with certain clients. In my experience, this mainly (but not exclusively) relates to the automotive and motorsport industry, with which I have a long standing association. As a self confessed petrolhead and car geek, all things automotive - especially automotive design - most definitely lights my candle, so the opportunity to hang around the hallowed ground of car design studios, getting glimpses of future product, is something I greatly enjoy. My work can consist of future product literature, racing car liveries and the like, and often I’m not allowed to publicise my involvement even after launch.

So, if I can't show you some of the work I've been doing, during a recent client visit I found the time to drop into the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire. Here I spent a few hours in blissful geekiness, looking at old mule cars, cancelled concepts and designs that didn't make production, alongside some iconic pieces of automotive design. I’ve added a few of my favourite ones below…

Concentrating on work I can show you, here's a selection of recent studio projects for clients old and new. I'm hoping that by the time the next update rolls round, there's more to show. But for now, Mum's the word...
