ALLIANCE MANCHESTER BUSINESS SCHOOL
Long-standing client Alliance MBS have been keeping me as busy as ever recently, with two exhibition builds and a whole range of design projects.
Executive Education Exhibition Stand
Regular readers of the Ingenious blog will know that exhibition / built environment design is a large part of what I do. This can range from temporary or permanent installations in museums, galleries or indeed a corporate setting, or as per the example below, a temporary exhibition stand in a conference environment.
I have been responsible for Alliance MBS’s exhibition programme since around 2010, and as the gallery below shows, we’ve done a vast range of different stand designs since then! From the client’s perspective it’s important for me to make things as easy as possible, so liaison with organisers, submission of all H&S paperwork and construction drawings, etc is all handled on their behalf, as is the build up and breakdown of the stand at each venue across the country. The stand and all associated equipment is stored on the client’s behalf between events, ensuring a true ‘turn-key’ solution for the client.

Social Media Templates
Here’s a selection of social media tile templates I’ve been working on recently. I’m a firm believer that good brands and well constructed brand guidelines encourage, rather than restrict, creativity, and the AMBS brand is a great example of this. Balancing the position of the so called ‘super graphic’ with careful image choice, there’s an opportunity to overlay and integrate an element of the image with the linework, a subtle but impactful addition to an otherwise straightforward layout.
These templates have been supplied to the client in a variety of orientations to ensure flexibility in all ongoing use.
